How To Create An Overnight Sucess
Captiv8 has helped achieve a standout hit for Universal Pictures International for the movie release Fifty Shades of Grey which delivered a record breaking $10.4M AUS opening, exceeding industry expectations, breaking many records including the biggest February debut ever, the second biggest opening for Universal, and the second biggest MA15+ opening of all time.
Working closely with the advertising, digital and publicity teams at UPI and collaborating with Mediacom and UPIs other agency partners we produced a raft of content to intrigue and entice audiences. The integrated video content campaign included TV commercials, integrated broadcast spots and billboards, YouTube content exclusives, Facebook and social web specific content and featurettes.
Of course, when you are launching a multi-million dollar hollywood movie everything needs to be right first time, every-time and no exceptions. All this was made possible using our robust production and post-production facilities, process and workflow which allows for rapid turn–around times for designing, editing and finishing video content. This is coupled with our extensive knowledge of the TV commercial broadcast and digital landscape to ensure delivery of all assets to the correct specification and standards.
Congrats to all the tea at Universal Pictures International and our dedicated team at Captiv8. If you want to know more about how we achieved this contact us at Captiv8.
